Kakuro (Cross-Sum) Puzzle Generator
A number-logic puzzle where you fill a grid with digits 1–9 so that each row and column group adds up to given sums without repeating numbers
How to Play: Each "run" of white cells must be filled with unique digits (1-9) that sum to the clue number shown in the adjacent shaded cell.
Numbers cannot repeat within the same run, making it a challenging blend of arithmetic and logic.
About Kakuro Puzzles
🎯 What is Kakuro?
Kakuro (also known as Cross-Sums) is a logic-based number puzzle often described as a mathematical version of a crossword puzzle. It is played on a grid made of black and white cells, where players fill the white cells with numbers to satisfy given clues.
📖 How to Play
- Fill white cells with digits 1-9
- Each run must sum to the clue number
- No repeats within the same run
- Black cells show clues (down/across)
- Each puzzle has a unique solution
💡 Example
If a clue is 4 in 2 (across two cells), the only valid combination is 1 and 3 (not 2 and 2, because duplicates are not allowed).
For 10 in 3: Could be 1+2+7, 1+3+6, 1+4+5, or 2+3+5
